1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Rug Cleaner ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Service.
Rug Cleaner is an independently operated project based in Switzerland. The current Service is an anonymous public beta: accounts, payments, stored portfolios, investigations, ownership records, alerts, and customer case-management features are not enabled at launch. The Privacy Policy and Operational Analytics Notice explain current data practices and form part of the terms governing your use.
2. Description of Service
Rug Cleaner provides automated cryptocurrency analysis tools that scan blockchain data to identify potential security risks, including but not limited to rug pulls, sell restrictions, fee traps, and malicious patterns. All analysis is provided solely for informational purposes.
2A. Market Intelligence and Macro Risk Engine
Rug Cleaner also provides market intelligence services through its Macro Risk Engine, which includes:
- Market Stress Index (MSI) — A composite score measuring market stress conditions
- Early Warning Index (EWI) — A diagnostic near-term warning state based on predefined stress components, not a crash probability, event forecast, trading signal, or live alert-delivery promise
- Medium-Term Warning (MTW) — A diagnostic state for sustained combinations of historically relevant stress conditions
These indicators are derived from publicly available market data and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute trading signals, investment recommendations, or timing advice.
The Macro Risk Engine describes observed risk conditions. It does not forecast a specific event, price movement, severity, or date. Historical evidence may include reconstructed historical states, backtests, historical replay, and observations originally produced in live operation. Rug Cleaner identifies these evidence classes separately. Reconstructed or backtested results are not equivalent to a prospective live track record.
3. No Financial, Trading, or Legal Advice
- The Service does not provide financial, investment, trading, tax, legal, or compliance advice.
- We do not recommend trades, timing, position sizes, portfolio allocations, or buying, selling, or holding any cryptocurrency.
- All outputs are for informational purposes only.
- You should always consult qualified financial and legal professionals before making investment decisions.
4. Accuracy Disclaimer
While we strive for accuracy, our analysis may contain errors or omissions:
- We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
- Algorithmic detection may generate false positives or negatives.
- Users are responsible for independent verification of all results.
- No tool can provide 100% accurate predictions of market behavior, malicious intent, or rug-pull risk.
5. Risk Acknowledgment
By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept that:
- Cryptocurrency investments are highly speculative and risky.
- You may lose part or all of your invested funds.
- Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes.
- Market conditions may change suddenly and unpredictably.
6. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Subject to those mandatory rules and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties, and Rug Cleaner limits liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, or purely economic losses arising from reliance on analytical outputs, third-party data, market movements, or interruption of the Service.
7. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for deciding whether and how to act on information provided by the Service. Conduct independent research and obtain qualified professional advice where appropriate. You also agree to:
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
- Not rely solely on our analysis for investment decisions.
8. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service for:
- Market manipulation, fraud, or illegal activity.
- Circumventing rate limits or usage restrictions.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract algorithms.
- Redistributing or reselling analysis without proper authorization.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, algorithms, and analysis methods are proprietary to Rug Cleaner. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
10. Service Availability
We strive to maintain availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Service may be suspended, modified, or terminated without notice for maintenance, updates, or operational reasons.
11. Modifications
We may modify these Terms as the beta changes. For a material change, we will publish a conspicuous notice in the Service before or when the change takes effect and update the last-updated date above. Continued use after the stated change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Contact Information
For questions about these Terms, please contact us at info@rugcleaner.io.
Privacy requests should be sent to support@rugcleaner.io with the subject Privacy Request.
13. Automated Analysis Limitations
Rug Cleaner uses automated systems to analyze blockchain data and detect patterns. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Automated, statistical, heuristic, or deterministic outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate.
- Confidence scores, predictions, or classifications are not guarantees of truth or safety.
- Automated detection cannot replace independent research or professional financial, legal, tax, or compliance advice.
- A score or label attached to a token, wallet, address, or cluster does not establish a natural person's identity, intent, legal ownership, guilt, or compliance status.
14. Macro Risk Engine Limitations
The Macro Risk Engine (MSI, EWI, MTW) is subject to additional limitations:
- Historical validation does not guarantee future performance.
- Market conditions may change in ways that invalidate historical patterns.
- The engine may generate false positives (warnings without subsequent crashes) or false negatives (missed events).
- Lead times and detection rates may come from reconstructed states, backtests, historical replay, or originally live observations; the evidence class must be read with the metric, and historical results may not be replicated in real time.
- External data sources (economic data, market feeds) may experience delays, errors, or outages.
- The engine is not designed for high-frequency trading or intraday decision-making.
The Macro Risk Engine describes observed risk conditions. It does not estimate the probability or timing of a crash and is not a trading or timing system.
15. Third-Party Data
The Service incorporates data from third-party sources including but not limited to:
- Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) — St. Louis Fed
- Public market-data sources — Equity, volatility, commodity, and rates data
- Cryptocurrency exchanges — Price and volume data
We do not control these data sources and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, or timeliness. Third-party data is provided "as is" and may be subject to their own terms of use and limitations.
Read the Legal Disclaimer for the concise product and model limitations that apply alongside these Terms.
